Sinulog Festival is held annually every third sunday of january in Cebu City, Philippines. It honors the patron saint of Cebu City, Sr Santo Nino (holy child jesus). The festival features a dance ritual in a street parade with participants in bright colored native costumes dancing in the rhythm of drums, native gongs and trumpets.
